Adam Federman is a reporting fellow with the Investigative Fund at the Nation Institute. His writing has appeared in the Nation magazine, The Guardian, Slate, The Washington Post, Columbia Journalism Review, Gastronomica, Adirondack Life and other publications. He is the recipient of a Polk Grant for Investigative Reporting, a Middlebury Fellowship in Environmental Journalism, and a Russia Fulbright Fellowship. His biography of British food writer Patience Gray, Fasting and Feasting, was a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize and a NYT notable book of 2017.
